When the pandemic hit in 2020 Aimee Connolly had to shift in-store sales and makeup masterclasses online, making her customers' data privacy paramount to her success. This is what prompted Aimee and her team to engage with Dataships and put in place a ‘best-in-class’ data privacy experience for their clients.

Dataships began by implementing robust privacy and cookie declarations for the Sculpted by Aimee site. Importantly, all of Aimee's third party data sources such as Shopify & Kalviyo were integrated into the Data Access Gateway so customers can view the information held about them, edit, download or delete it, as per their rights under GDPR legislation. Through doing so, all personal data is accessible to the each individual ensuring transparency and allowing the fulfillment of their data privacy rights.
